1981 mercruiser 120.. i am testing my motor and i dont have the cover over ther motor and when i am at idel you can see smoke ot of the carb? now i dont have the engine cover or the air filter.. so my ? is, is it ok to have smoke come out of the carb?
well i bought a boat and it was last used on 07/08 and i think the gas is 1 1/2 or 2 years old, now i know old gas is no good but i have half a tank.... so my ? is that if i have 1/2 tank of gas can i add gas stabilizer and then fill up the tank with new gas?

well i bought a new shift cable and i can not know if the cable is adjusted right, there is like two lines comming from the trim pump to a valve and when u push the valve the outdrive will get in gear? (did i say that right:rolleyes:)
