So if I spray starter fluid in the carb or pump the trottle several times I can get it to crank but then it just stalls right out. Not sure where to start the carb was just rebuilt. New distributor installed and the motor was out and put back in so I need advise on where to start looking
So I have a mercruiser 120 and it won't move. I think water got in the engine I'm just not sure how. So now I have to rebuild the engine but if I can't figure out how water got in an I just going to end up with a broken engine again? So here's what I've done so far and what I've seen any advise...
I check the alignment and the tool slides in and out really easy with 2 fingers but when I go to out the outdrive on it stops and won't go any further about an inch from where I should be. The engine is in forward like the manual says but it just won't go
