    1984 Evinrude 115 starter/solenoid

    Trying to get this motor started. It's one of those that hasn't been run for "years". Inherited with boat from grandfather. I've oiled the cylinders, and now I'm ready to give it a try, hooked up the battery to see if stater would turn the engine over, and it didn't. Spun, but would not engage...

    Cap Removal Problems

    Having difficulty getting the cap off my fish and ski. Appears like it is sealed (bondo?) at the splash well with a support structure attached to the transom on the inside. Anyone run into this? I've got to get the cap off, but this thing is a monster and will not budge at the transom.
