    What manual is best for home repairs ???

    Which manual do you find to be the best in showing and explaining step by step "how to" repair work on your outboard. I am in the process of looking for one since I have recently aquired two OMC outboards. One is a 1989 30 hp Evinrude, the other a 1997 30 hp Johnson.

    1997 30 HP Johnson impeller replacement

    Have recently bought two motors throught sealed bid. Am trying to put new impeller in 1997 Johnson 30 hp and can't get the lower unit to drop off after unbolting. The rod going up to the shifter is holding me. How do you release the rod so the lower unit will drop on off so I can get to the...
