I haven't seen it yet as it is one I am considering buying. I asked him about the entire wood transom. He says the metal is sandwiched between wood. Not sure why it was done this way. I definitely want to check the integrity back there.
yes I noticed that transom in the photos as well. I do not know if it is normal for it to be solid wood back there? I assume the metal is sandwiched in between but it does look odd.

I am considering buying this as a fishing boat. Don't know much about it other than it is stainless steel. I am thinking based on a bit of research that it may be a Starcraft from the 50's? Anyone know?
