    Ahoy! - I have a 2002 Evinrude 150 carbureted...One carb is leaking alot of fuel internally from a tube that goes from the float bowl to the throat of the carb. Not sure what this tube is for but it appears to comes into play at WOT as all 6 carbs have some fuel from this tube then. I've checked...

    Fuel restriction vacuum switch

    I have a 2002 Evinrude 150 hp carb...my warning horn is sounding. I traced the problem to the fuel restriction vacuum switch. <br />Even at rest with the hose removed the switch is closed. I'm guessing this should be a normally open switch... Any help would be appreciated...thanks

    I have a 1990 Evinrude 150 XP model # E150STLESB (90 degree V-6) that has a blown powerhead. A buddy of mine got me a sweet deal on a new 2002 150 h.p. 60 degree V-6 fully dressed. The only numbers I can find on the new motor is 0581 12C1B2. This number was stamped (not cast) on a machined...
