i'm trying to help a fried with a merc sport jet 90. the only way we can get this engine to start is to unhook the black wire w/yellow stripe. but as soon as we hook it back up, it dies. took it out and ran it, it seems to run ok. you just have to leave that wire unhooked. any help would be...
i'm trying to help a friend with a sport jet 90. the engine will only crank with the black wire w/yellow stripe disconnected. any other time while the wire is connected there is no spark. any help would be greatly appreciated.
