I need to replace the insulation for a newly re-built housing for my inboard engine. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I assume its for heat resistance and sound deadening. The boat is like 20 years old so I don't think going to the MFG would help. There has to be some third party...
I am rebuilding the engine compartment/cover for an inboard engine. The vinyl is ok and I plan on reusing it but the wood was also covered in a foam rubber-like padding. Probbaly 1/8" thick. And it appears glued to the wood. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should use here for this...
I had a new cover made for my boat a couple years ago. It needs to be waterproofed now but I don't know what I should use. ANy tips here?
Also, any tips on how to keep it from shrinking? Seems to be getting harder and harder to snap it down each season and I doubt my boat is growing. :-)...
My 88 Sebring has probably the least comfortable seating (at least the driver's seat) there is. Could just need re-padding. I don't know. The seating is the back-to-back collapsable type (to create a single "bed" if you have the camper kit).
Any suggestions on how to improve this?
