    96 75hp Mariner shut off won't run or start

    I was running about 4500 rpms and engine slowed to idle and shut off. Tried to start and it would turn over but wouldn't fire. After about 45 min. it did start and ran about 5 minutes and shut off like the ignition switch had been turned off. Now it will turn over but won't fire. ???

    1996 Mariner 75 HP Lower Unit Removal

    Am trying to replace water pump in my 1996 75 HP Mariner. Have loosened the 5 obvious bolts, however the lower unit will not separate from the motor. Have I missed something?

    Sluggish '96 Mariner 75HP

    I have a '96 Mariner 75HP which only accelerates to about 4000 rpms. Sometimes after a period of time at this speed it will continue up to 5200 rpms. I have replaced the plugs and fuel filter with no improvement. I have tried pushing the choke to see if this would help but the engine bogs...
