    forward / reverse linkage

    i have a 1988 evinrude 40 hp and i cant figure out how to disconnect the linkage to drop the lower unit. if the over heat buzzer has sounded is it to late for the motor, as soon as i heard the buzzer i shut it off? thanks jim cav

    vro pump up grade

    I have a 1993 mariner mag 3 150 hp i have just finished putting the motor back together, the second time the plastic gear has gone bad. is there a new version or up grade for this oil pump? or is it the same old pump being used. If this happens again i am doing away with with the vro!!!!!!
