the prop shaft has two seals,,, was able to get one out OK but the next one is in deeper behind the one that was removed.. does the bearing carrier have to be removed and knock the seal out from the backside?
friend has 1985 cris craft with a 3.0 mercruise outdrive with no engine or bellhousing when he got it....we are looking at a 120 hp engine which has the bellhousing complete to the back of the boat on the inside,,, not sure it will connect to outdrive at the inside of the transum.... need...

1978 115 HP hard to do a cold start... after running for short period of time starts great..... the electric choke works good, on this model only two of the three carbs are factory equiped with choke plates... also this model doesn't have a fuel enrichment sytem....can spray gas into carbs...
its a 1978 115 mercury with type A dual cylinders.... need to know how to bleed the cylinders...after i am finished mounting motor and T/T pump on my boat..... my Selco manual doesn't show how to do it

has anyone on here upgraded the above trolling motor to a autopilot unit?
if so where did you buy the parts and how expensive? also were you able to do it yourself? MINN KOTA customer service told me they make a autopilot for this model, but wanted me to get one of thier service centers to do...
what would be the expected charging amps for this engine, also there is an plugged off tube coming from the lower unit what is this for? what would be the best repair manual for this engine, i have looked at some and they are for many years, would one just for this engine or limited years
