Could someone confirm the proper fuel mixture for my model CD-17 ,1960 Johnson 5½ hp. motor? I have had mixed answers about this and have been running 50:1 and having to change the plugs often. It also smokes like crazy. I would greatly appreciate any input on this. Thanks, jinx
I was reading a message posted by Rick C where he said he had this manual. This is a 1960 5.5 hp. Johnson Seahorse. I have it running but there is no water coming out of the exhaust port but lots of bubbles and turbulance around the prop when it is running but in neutral. Is this OK ?
