The Walleye are plentiful this year out by the Galloos. Cold water Walleye and Perch are the best eating. Are you able to harvest any seafood yourself?
Henderson Harbor got screwed on Salmon this year. Almost nothing in the trench. Light stocking 3 years ago. The Guides weren’t happy. I have a 22 foot Thompson for Salmon but bought this one for walleye. Are you near the Coast? So much great seafood in Maine.
Here’s a pic of the one I just bought that needs work. I took a gamble and gave $4,000.00. It came with riggers, Garmin GPS, new canvas, planer boards and 4 poles. I figured at that price there were issues. But I was hoping not.

I figured I’d be pulling the engine. The bellows, shift cable and gimbal bearing just got changed and the transom feels and sounds solid. Do you the name of the seal the exhaust goes through? Also, is Bondo still around here?
It runs out of the exhaust ports as long as you lave the water at a certain level in the bilge. As soon as I pull the plug and drain the bilge the water stops coming out of the exhaust ports. I’ve read there’s a seal where the exhaust manifold tubes come together and go through the transom.
I recently purchased a “everything works perfectly” 1989 Starcraft Islander 22 foot. Needless to say, everything doesn’t work perfect. The first time putting into the water I could hear water coming in. The shift cable bellow was broken. This has been replaced along with all the other bellows...
