    crankcase cover sealer

    I have a 68 Mercury 9.8 hp motor that the crankcase cover is leaking. I took the cover of to put a new seal in it and found out that there is not a seal on the cover.I got a book for the motor and it said to use 514-31 loctite on it. what is 514-31 loctite? whare can I get it? or is there...

    faster 9.8 hp

    I have a 14ft. mod. V jon boat with a 68 model 110 9.8hp moter. Is there a way to make it faster? I don't have the money to get a 25 hp that the boat is rated for.
