So I my drain plug tube broke off into pieces. I know I need to put one in. Can I operate the boat without one? When I put the plug in it seems like it’s tight and wont. come out. I’m gonna do my transom on the future so I don’t want to have to tap the new drain tube out when I do the transom

I have a 1967 fiberglass 16 ft boat. Gonna replace the stringers I heard you’re not supposed to do them on the trailer, is this true? I want to do this myself instead of paying someone 3,000 plus. Also how much do you think this will run me
