    I have a 1975 Johnson 50 HP that was given to me. It starts and idles but kinda rough and dies. I dropped the lower and the water impeller was toast. The vanes were more than halfway gone. I did a compression checked on both cylinders. Top was 100 and bottom was 110. Do you guys think this...

    Does a 1975 johnson 50hp have a telltale hole? If not, is there anywhere water should come out besides where the prop mounts? (exhaust) Thanks in advance if anyone can answer this.
