I picked up this gem a month ago! It's a 1989 Ebbtide Dynatrak 156SS. It's been garage kept since new and looks like it just came out of the showroom too! The boat, trailer and Nissan 90HP is all factory package.
I bought a new to me boat last month and I want to install water fuel seperator. Are these kits universal or specific to your outboard motor? The reason I ask is because I checked on Iboats.com and some kits would say something like "OEM replacement for Mercury, or Yamaha..etc etc".

I have a 1978 Evinrude 85HP and in need of a new prop. I researched and for the motor the prop specs are 13.25x15, 13.25x17 or 13x19. I have 13x19.
I can get a 14x19 prop for $50.00. Can I use this prop size, any negative impact?

On my outboard there are series of pin holes for the reverse lock pin. Where should the pin be inserted...nearest to the transom or farthest away?
I don't want any surprises when I get the reverse gear working.

I have a Mercury 800 Thunderbolt ignition and I believe the engine is 1970's era. The control box has 2 levers. I think the small lever is to control the throttle..correct?
