    Was out looking for some muffs for my evenrude 8hp 4stroke. I wan't to test the motor before I take er out. I see they have single and double feed muffs, are the double feeds just over kill or are there applications where they're required. Am I ok with a single feed? Thanks

    what year 9.9 should I buy

    Hi, I have been looking for an outboard and these old johnson/evenrude 9.9's seem to be very solid motors. If I were to buy one in the 1974-92 range what year(s) would you recommend? Is it true that 74-76 ignitions used points? Any info is much appreciated. Thanks.
