    I have a 1967 merc 60 6hp. I need a lower unit for the motor. does anyone know where i could start looking, i found one for a 9.9 on ebay will it fit right on my 6hp. thanks

    I have found this site very useful so far, but this is my first posting hope yall can help.<br />I have a late 60's mercury 6 hp and the lower unit is froze up but everything else is in great clean shape, it is a short shaft. I have been looking on ebay to find the lower unit, will a 9.8 or 7.5...
