What is the easiest way to estimate the anual maintance cost on a boat?
I had at one time read that using 10 percent of the apraised value was in line but can't find where I read it. Does anyone have any info on this or a better way to estimate?

My johnson 225 vro has an inline fuel filter (racor) at the engine. If I start mixing my gas will I need to remove this filter? Will the oil mix clog it is what I am wondering?

I am trying to get info on how to change from vro system to mixing my own gas. I keep hearing that with that system, that would the best way to go and have fewer problems. Any info on should I or how to would be greatly app.

Looking at a boat that has a 130 hp Honda 4 stroke on it. It has water in the oil and the person I am looking to buy it from says it has a blown head
gasket. I know this can be one problem but is there anything else I should

I am trying to wire a second starter button on my 1983 70 hp evenrude and don't know were to hook it up on the solenoid. Can someone please help with this. Thanks!!!
Im looking at 18' and 19' bay and offshore fishing boats. Most of the boats have single 115's up to 150's. I would feel beter with 2 motors. Just wondering if 2- 70 hp would be eq. to a 140 in speed and power.
