    1977 Mercury outboard motor

    I have 2 problems, 1. When starting I feel like the motor is not getting fuel, I have to hand pump then it will run. 2. When running at 4500rpm, it will drop to 3500rpm, it will continue to do that. 3. What is the fuel mixture for this motor, 32:1, 40:1 or 50:1 Thank you for your help. Joe

    Throtle cable

    Hi there, I have a 94 Tracker 170TF, I need to replace the throttle cable on a Quicksilver 3000, I am trying to remove the control, I got all 6 bolts off but unable to remove to get access to the cable, Need some help. Thanks in advance.

    I bought an older 80HP Mercury motor to put into my 94' Nitro, the motor has 6 pin connector on the side, and the Nitro has 12 wires (the wiring harness was cut when they stole the motor), can I incorporate then together?     I have a 94' Nitro 170TF, the motor was stolen, I bough an older Mercury 80HP motor, with a plug on the side s/n 2665506, can I incorporate it to the Quick Silver 3000 control with twelve wire harness? If it's doable how do get information of doing it. Thanks.
