I am experienceing and engine overheat signal form my 93 Mariner 40 and have replaced the water pump as well as cleaned out the unit. I believe the oil injection pump may be shot. Is it possible to take out the pump and just mix the gas and oil together?

I am in great need of a carburetor for my Mariner 40 Magnum (serial #: 0d237161) I was cleaning it and while trying to push the float pin the bracket broke. It is the bottom carb. WMA 13. Please let me know if you can help.
