    Is it ok to squirt a little outboard oil in the cylinders to keep things from seizing up for the winter? I've been also running sea foam in the last couple tanks of fuel in my '72 40hp merc. thanks

    71' Evinrude 25hp, won't start

    I just bought this 71' Evinrude, guy said he inherited it, took it to "Dry Dock", (local outboard repair shop) to see if it ran, they said it did, then it's sat in his garage for the last couple years...motor looks in good shape well taken care of.     25hp evinrude 1971?

    I just bought an older 25hp evinrude, and would like to know if I am correct that it is a 1971 model, by the model/serial #'s 25102S-E08612. And is the S in the sequence mean maybe a Sportster model, and if so what does that mean really? Are all service manuals you see listed for mutiple years...
