I get that the purple is +12 volts, the grey is the for the tach and the Black is GND. Why is the tan/blue striped wire in this harness. Does it go to a guage or to my main boat horn? I'm lost.

No power @ WOT. Bogs right down. Motor starts everytime, idles great and trolls fine. But when opened opened up starts sputtering. Here's the thing...in netreul the motor will rev up no problem. Changed a lot parts. I've almost given up, almost. Any help would be greatly...
is it normal for water to fill into your leg? Not the lower leg. I think water is by passing by my impeller and filling my leg. water is coming out my drain hole and support structer. 20 hp merc 1990. thanks
1) Took the carb off and put in a new kit. Carb was clean and so were the gaskets. Fuel pump was too. New parts all around.
2) Changed the two ignition coils. So now new coils and leads.
3) My rectifier was rusty and ugly. So another part added.
4) New fuel filter and gas tank
