    outriggers ????

    I am a newbie and have a boat with outriggers.<br />It does not yet have the rigging. If I am not mistaken,the general purpose for these poles is to keep the bait spread apart and to avoid any entanglements.<br />How does the rigging work ? Any web-sites that I could go to find out ?

    Marine sealer for metal work?

    I am going to work on my trailer and found a marine sealer for METAL. Is this stuff worth putting on non-galvanized metal(U bolts,lugs,etc) ? It is only used in salt water in the caribbean. Shuold I paint over it as well ?

    1st time boat owner

    I just got a hold of a Stamas 1972 26.5 with twin Yamaha 200's. It needs some work of course,but has very good potencial of being a great boat.<br />I will probably be back ALLOT to get some advice on repairs and such. Is this type of boat good ?
