Thanks according to a marine mechanic I guess he said the pervious owner must have made that other one for better visibility of the cooling water coming out

Ok I guess I will replace the impeller since they gave me 2 and water jacket to start but do u know what that hose is for it goes to the body I'm stumped been looking and can't find anything when u unscrew it plastic and blocked blew air in it and put it back in
