So I picked up this motor for $40 as-is (seized)
Managed to get it freed up and it felt like it had compression.
It was missing the manual starter and the electric start has some issue (doesn't seem to run at the right speed with the start button)
Also missing the stop button, tiller grip...

So, I didn't know the shape of my motor when I bought it last year (1970 115 Evinrude), I sourced out some Premium blend oil and I just wanted you guys to see how the oil looked.

Soooo... I started looking at another of the 8. Checked compression, mid 70s in each cylinder, the coils look near new (haven't checked for spark yet. Needs new condensers.) I dropped the LU and the only things I didn't like were some pitting in the pump housing and there's a bushing at the top...
