I have a 15' fiberglass runabout and am looking for a trolling motor. How many pounds of thrust will i at least need to get the thing moving? I've never had one before so i have no idea how big of one to buy. I have looked at a 34 pound thrust, not sure if thats enough.
I can't seem to locate the specific model number on my Johnson Javelin 35HP. From what i have read it should be RD-RDL-19, RDE-RDEL-19 or RJE-RJEL-19. Could someone tell me where to look on the motor to determine this number? Thanks!
