I have a 1985 20 hp Johnson outboard, it runs perfect up to 3/4 throttle but when you turn it wide open it will run about 100 to 150 yards and it acts like it runs out of gas. You can pump the primer bulb and it will run then, I have replaced the fuel pump,replaced fuel lines,cleaned&rebuilt...
