Was wondering where the water outlet should be on a 1974 50hp Evinrude? Does it shoot water out of the side somewhere or will it come out of the back of the exhaust housing ports? Would this motor have an exhaust flow thru prop and does water exit there as well? Thanks for any help.
1989 volvo penta AQ130. The tilt trim works down and then will come up just part way and stop and you can still hear the tilt trim motor running. Could this still be a relay issue or something internal. It is a screw type drive.

I am still having surging issues at low and mid range rpms. Rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, fuel lines, plugs etc. etc.......I was told that possible the throttle roller cam is not synchronized with the spark advance and I was given instructions on doing that. I may not be doing it correctly and...
I currently have a 10 1/2 X 11 prop. If I go with a higher number like a 13 or 15, will I get more speed out? of it? What should I be looking for?

At lower or mid range speeds I get a surge that you can feel and hear. It is more noticeable at lower rpms. I have rebuilt the carb, new fuel pump, lines etc. and I still have the surge that I cant get rid of. When I open it up the surge seems to go away. Thanks for any help.
I have searched the internet etc. and cant find anyone that makes a skeg guard for a 1979 35 hp johnson. I would love to find something that bolts or slips over what is left of my existing skeg, the bottom has been broken off at some point. Any help would be appreciated.
