I am about to by a trim for my motor but I'm not sure if it will fit. It comes from a mid 70's either off a 55 or 50 hp 2 cylinder. Will this trim fit my motor? The only markings on the unit are on the resevoir "A5004 Prestolite".<br />Thanks guys<br />Juice

I recently down-graded to a 1969 55hp Johnson. My question is, I have a 1963 Johnson 75hp on my boat. I was wondering if The mounting brackets or the holes will line up with the new motor, or can I just use the mounting brackets on my boat and just slide the motor in place with the old brackets?
