    The MI title has the HIN as SERMOO2446M7. That's also not correct.

    I looked on the USCG site and it says the HIN cann't be changed unless approved in writing by the USCG commander. So I sent an email with a photo of the affected HIN. Hopefully they will let me change it.

    I asked Sea Ray and they were not of any help. I talked with USCG and he seemed to think that it was a factory mistake. The problem is it's rather ancient. Sea Ray has no idea why this happened. I've thought about the filling in the O. LOL

    I found a site this morning that has some good advice on replacing rotted or rotting wood in stringers and transoms.. It's called rotdoctor. They have a product that claims to repair and stop rotting. Seems interesting to me.

    I used this to assemble the impeller housings on a stringer. Since this is what the repair book said to use, I did. Anyone have an idea how to seperate the two pieces? They just don't pull apart and am hesitant to use more force. [vise,etc]
