Probably broke the cardinal rule and removed the screw on top center of the cowling. It seems to have something to do with the pull start. Anyone got a fix for this?
I have a pristine 1986 Evinrude 4hp short shaft that I wish to convert to a long shaft. I have called Bay Mfg and others but have not been able to find a source for kit or the parts to accomplish it. Anyone out there got any ideas?
What is the maximum rpm of the 115 hp Evinrude jet drive. Can't get it over 4800 rpm. Seems like it should be able to get to at least 5500. Anyone know?
