    OMC steering cable

    I have a '71 Sea Ray Srv-200 w/omc sterndrive. I need a steering cable. This is an older type, it has the cable or telescoping rod going thru the transom with a ball or gimbel and attaches to the lower unit with a small bracket. Anyone parting out a boat or now of this part? Thanks :p

    '71 Sea Ray

    I need a steering cable for a '71 Sea Ray SRV-200.<br />I've e-mailed Teleflex 3 times with no response!!<br />The system is a rack system(single cable). The end that connects to outdrive is a bit different than newer models. Any ideas how to contact Teleflex? Phone #? E-mail? Thanks, Keninch

    I am new to forum and this boat. I need help with the steering cable...How do I get the ball off where cable goes through the transom and where do I get a new cable..I believe it's a rack system. Thanks, keninch
