I bought a 1997 40 hp powerhead. Sent them my 1999 50 hp carburators to be rebuilt and mounted to the powerhead. Received the powerhead and can't understand how the linkage is supposed to work (see attached photo). Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

How much play is acceptable in prop shaft
1999 Johnson 50 hp. When I ROTATE my propeller shaft there is an approximate 1/8 of a turn worth of play. (No play front to back) Am I headed for touble? Thanks.
