Started fine all season. Can hear starter solenoid but starter won't engage. Installed new battery but still same thing. I'm assuming the starter is bad but thought I'd ask if it could be anything else, before I go to the trouble of taking it out.

Trim won't work. Worked fine in yard. Then nothing not even a noise. Checked all the fuses I could find, (under dash and the 10A by motor). I did see in an earlier post that about jumping the motor to the battery. Did that and there is a noise. Should the lower unit move when I do this...
