i picked up a 86 force 50hp outboard,the motor starts and runs good,my question is there is a wire w/afuse inlinethat gos to the red terminal on the terminal wireing block.with out it the motor wont start and not to long after i put it in drive the fuse will blow and the motor will die.can...
i just picked up 4 outboards the guy had no idea what year any of them were is there a website or anyway to find out.they are all differant brands.they are evinrude,suzuki spirt,u.s marine force 50,and a chrysler.thanks
i picked up a 1964 28hp evenrude speeditwin i got it up and running but i ran into a problem.the water is not circulating threw the waterpump so my lower unit is getting hot.i took the lower unit off and double checked the impeller(witch i just changed)and everything seems to be working...
