    Evirude 1991 40hp trim/tilt

    I need to add Trim/tilt fluid to my system but it appears the fill /drain plug is on the side facing the engine mountings & not backwards. Any ideas on how I get to fill it ?

    My motor has been been unused for 2 years. Testing the VRO alarm by shorting it to the engine block indicates it works but there is no beep when the ingnition is switched on.
