    Is a timing light the only way to confirm the QuickStart system disconnects? My understanding is this system advances timing by about 10 degrees until warm and then should drop back to normal timing setpoint of 4 degrees ATDC.

    While troubleshoot a fuel starvation issue I found the metal disc inside the vapor pump all bent up. Went to order new gaskets and the internals but could not find a kit.     Float setting on 1998 Johnson J115ELECM

    Thanks for the response. The engine is new to me. It was cutting out like not getting fuel. Bought carb kits and after disassembly found the bowls warped and gaskets deteriorated with pieces of gaskets blocking the main jet. Ordered new bowls and wanted to make sure things were set right.

    I am looking for the float setting for the carburetors on my 1998 Johnson J115ELECM engine. The manual only addresses the float drop. I would like to know what the float heights should be when the needle is fully seated. Thanks in advance!
