the pressure treated wood i'm laminating (using resin and one layer of cloth to join and resin only to seal edges and face) has been treated with thompsons water seal will it affect bondo brand resin??
I am finally ready to start. I have a 17'6 glastron. I have removed the cap, transom, and down to hull. I have purchased 1/2 inch ACX ply and 5/4 pt for the stringers,and 3/4 ply for transom. I have cut my stringers and transom and they are drying. Decking is drying flat on garage floor.

boat is 74 glastron 176 swinger, floor is removed to dash panel. 3 stringers need to be removed still. I cut the old floor out leaving @1/2 inch lip around boat. Boat will be used for fishing, mainly propelled by trolling motors only. I may put a 9.9 rarely if it's long enough.

Really cool boat it has a finned caddy look to it, floor totally gone 3 stringers gone also. Anyone ever use truck bedliner to encapsulate wood stringers ? just a thought.. Anyways how structural are the stringers/flooring. How hard is the reglassing i hear about? thanks lots of help needed...
