I have a 79 evinrude 175 and I have a stator with part number 583050 35 amp. Will this work or can I make it work. It would be good if it will or i can wire it to work but i dont if it will work with my ingtion system.
I have a 79 evinrude 175 and the alarm stays on anytime the key is on or motor is running. Is it supposed to be on when you first turn the key on and then go off when it starts? Engine is fresh rebuild and runs good and is not overheating.
I have a 1979 evinrude 175 that i just bought and they have added a pee hole but it is teed off and just lying inside the case. I took pics of it. Does anybody no where it is suposed to go. The pee hole in the housing works well.. Also the audible sound stays on when started.. I dont believe it...
