Rick, thanks so much for the help. I had measured several ways to identify the best possible course of action, but never considered that option, nor took in account for the alignment tool bottoming out.

I screwed up! I recently purchased the MBS gimbal bearing installer and alignment tool. I didn’t see the instructions as they were stuck to the inside of the box. Bottom line is, I pulled my old gimbal bearing before obtaining the measurement in order to drill the hole for the installation...
