i was needing to find out if alower unit from a evinrude 1973 9.5 hp will fit on a johnson 1967 6 hp or is there any difference between the two i tried to put it on but it seemed like it wouldn't fit all the way longer shaft on 9.5? they look the same length or am i wrong or maybe different...
