I'm debating between buying a 70HP Yamaha outboard and a 75 HP Evinrude E-Tech and a 75 HP Mercury. The e-Tech is about $1400 more expensive than the Yamaha and the Yamaha is about $1000 more than the Mercury. Any suggestions as to which engine to buy?

We own a summer kids camp on a lake that has a 50HP boat engine limit. Our existing boats are old and slow and older kids have trouble getting up to water Ski. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best boat/engine to buy that would provide the best power for water skiing?
