    1969 55hp evinrude

    I got the motor to crank with a new fuse. Did spark plug test and no flash on my bulb. Diagnosis on the instructions says to check the ignition system. Anyone had the same problem? Do I just need to replace the distributor cap/wires? Or do I need a new stator? Or do I need to rewire the whole thing?

    1969 55hp evinrude

    I have a 1969 55hp evinrude. replaced a couple fuses and spark plugs and it will crank and flywheel spins but it’s not starting and running. I got fuel to it as well. Any ideas???
