    Gas oil mixture 1957 sport twin

    Evinrude 1957 sportwin plug wire part #'s

    I have a 1957 sportwin 10 hp Evinrude. Top cylinder will not fire.I have replaced coils and condensers and points.I did pull one condenser out to determine which one was good and found that both fired?????.I am baffled.<br />Plug wires may be the problem but am having difficulty finding...

    1957 sportwin 10 hp no spark,new coils

    I have replaced coils I have swapped condensers. I still have no spark on the top plug. plug wires OK. I did take out one of the condensers and pulled over motor, Both plugs fired??????. I need help any suggestions.could this be a short some where?

    1957 sporttwin 10 hp

    I have just replaced the coils because one had no spark. The problem I am having is how do I measure the gap between the flywheel and the coil. To me its not accessable. .20 is recommended.
