I have a 1994 Mirada with a 3.0 Volvo Penta SX drive. The outboard works fine triming up and down but will not trim up high enough for trailoring. it reaches a stopping point going up and sounds as though the motor is straining to lift. i know yhe cylinders have at least 3 inches more travel...
