I have a neighbor wanting to rebuild his 1988 125HP Force trim tilt. He purchased a kit where everything fits, but the tilt/shock wipers are too small (seal #2 in the picture). He wants to use silicone to keep them in place. Is this a good way to go about this, or should he do something else...
