    where does it go?

    Hey guys got a 87 85hp. force.Pulled l.u. and plastic 2 in piece fell out.Does it go on water pump housing or end of drive shaft? any help would be appreciated thanks.

    which way does it go?

    Replacing impeller finally, but have seen posts saying to put it in the pump clockwise and ive seen counter clockwise.Does anyone know which it is for sure? iTS an 87 85 hp force. Thanks guys.

    re 85 hp overheating

    Ok guys im at the end of my rope.i took out lower unit twice, impeller was like brand new. Pulled thermo and tested, ok. getting water to head through tube. But not when l.u. is reconnected. Is it in the prop housing where the screens are? That's gotta be it isn't it? And do I need a puller to...

    ok,i pulled l.u. checked impeller, and pump ,both appeared fine.reassembled,no water getting to thermostat.alarm sounded shut off.intake below appears clear,does it need to be in gear to engage impeller or does it still pump in nuetral?I feel like an idiot here but i am stumped.also,Frank your...
