    91 4.3 omc cobra surging

    I have a 91 reinell with a 4.3 omc cobra HO. the problem I am having is that the boat will idle good and cruise under 2000 rpm good but as soon as you hit 2000rpm the boat starts surging as if it were only running on 4 cylinders. please help
